As we patiently play the waiting game for baby number two to make her arrival I passed my husband, Colin, my camera to capture these final days. The official due date is February 10th but it feels like it could be any day now. Sevilla (pronounced Se-via), our 3 year old daughter, is incredibly excited for the new baby and I just love how she takes every opportunity to cuddle with her sister. As soon as I climbed onto the bed she was right there to curl into my lap to hold my belly. She also likes to play photographer and while I was providing direction to Colin, she declares, “my aperture is 3”. I’m so glad we were able to capture some of these memories. It’s easy as a photographer to forget to occasionally step in front of the camera too.
