Two weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing Jeremy and Kelly’s wedding at Seasons in the Park restaurant, in Queen Elizabeth Park. They went with a formal classic decor, red roses, a beautiful sleek wedding dress and tulip centrepieces to tie in a bit of spring. Jer describes himself as nontraditional and they choose to skip a few typical wedding traditions by having a “first look” among the blooming cherry blossoms before the ceremony; foregoing getting married in a church; having a midday ceremony and luncheon; and by agreeing to a funky graffiti photo shoot in East Van afterwards. I had so much fun with these two and they were up for almost anything (think climbing trees and trying to recreate a two-headed monster graffiti picture.) Kelly looked stunning and resembled Keira Knightly on the red carpet. Kelly & Jeremy are such a sweet, loving couple with hearts of gold. They have strong values and hold family, God, and each other close. I wish them all the best in their lives together!
