This has to be one of my favourite wedding locations I’ve shot at. I just loved the farm setting with the huge weeping willows providing shade for the ceremony, the ample fields with grazing horses, the beautifully decorated white tent and the barn we were allowed to explore for some photos. The owners of Dragonfly Acres and the parents of one of the groomsmen were kind enough to open up their property to Kayla and Jason for their wedding and they were amazing hosts who went above and beyond. The vintage and rustic decor was just perfect. There were nary a dry eye during the ceremony, especially from the bride and groom. It’s so heart warming to see a couple so moved by the commitment and devotion they are promising each other. Their story is extra sweet, as they already have two little girls. One of whom Jason as taken as his own. The sand pouring ceremony was a symbolic action of this family officially becoming one. Untraditionally, the first dance was not bride and groom but groom and his eldest daughter… because Jason has made a commitment to her too. A beautiful wedding for a beautiful young family.
